Wayne State University's Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is hosting Community Apple Days, an educational and fun journey designed to increase awareness of the opportunities available in the health care sciences. This community-wide open house and health event will feature hands-on demonstrations of the college's ground-breaking research and degree programs as well as a career fair highlighting opportunities in the high-demand health sciences occupations. Additionally, the college will serve as a donation site for a blood drive hosted by the American Red Cross. You are invited to:
- Participate in health screenings and interactive workshops
- Explore health-care professions
- Obtain useful self care and safety information
- Participate in games and activities with a focus on healthy behavior
- Learn how to make positive lifestyle changes
- Enjoy nutritious refreshments

Get your photo taken with former Detroit Lion and Super Bowl champion, Lomas Brown. See what can happen when driving and texting with our Distracted Driving Simulator. Meet our community health care partners at one of the screening "clinics" as well as representatives from local hospitals, pharmacies, occupational and physical therapy companies and other potential employers on hand to showcase their services, as well as discuss career opportunities.
