With topics ranging from recruiting diverse research participants to harnessing data science, the Contemporary Issues in Urban Health: Nursing Science Shaping the Future conference will engage participants through thought-provoking presentations regarding the state of nursing science in urban environments. The WSU College of Nursing invites researchers and practitioners from all disciplines to explore how today’s nursing science influences tomorrow’s urban communities, including topics such as:

- Urban research
- Genomics
- Management of common urban health challenges, including chronic wounds, asthma and hypertension
